High Speed Deadrise style custom design with Naval Architect, Lou Codega. Built by Composite Yacht in Trappe, MD.

A dynamic spatial rhythm of order and chaos emerges within a static modular structure as the observer’s viewing position progresses. An interwoven compression and release of proportion exists within the balanced spatial voids.

While an employee at Morrelli & Melvin Design & Engineering, Trip worked with the owner, builder, and engineering team to develop the HH catamaran line of sailing boats. Trip created the initial concept images and 3d models that the exterior surfaces would be built from.

Trip partnered with a local drone pilot Trey Trumble, of Force Aerial, to create and bring the Aerie Precision Control Grip to market.

The raised walls of this novel design allow the pilot to push the control stick in the intended direction without the need to push down to create friction. This creates a stable condition for the thumbs leading to smoother flights for a variety of controllers.

The Brain Ball is a spherical puzzle made of 20 identical pieces that snap and click together. The ball can be rolled, thrown, SMASHED, and rebuilt. It is a product that can be enjoyed by all ages and is eye catching and sculptural on a shelf. The Brain Ball offers a tactile, spatial, visual, and auditory educational experience. Various forms and shapes can be explored with the pieces in alternative and imaginative configurations.

Custom Designed by Trip for a high performance cruising catamaran while employed by Morrelli & Melvin. Trip was given free reign to imagine, sketch, and model these sculpted seats. Hats off to a great fabrication team!

Collaboration with Dynovis.

Trip collaborated with Cha Cha Kombucha of Costa Mesa, CA to create custom tap handles to meet their brand goals and prominently display the delicious kombucha throughout southern California. Starting with a few hand carved versions, eventually moving toward CNC production.

While employed by Morrelli & Melvin, Trip had the opportunity to participate in the design development for the refit of 64' steel hulled Phillip Rhodes designed vessel, La Belle Sole, ca. 1956
